STUDIO EXTRAIT is an independent South African fragrance house. We formulate, blend, bottle and dispatch our own extraits de parfum from South Africa and sell them exclusively through this website.

We are not a reseller and we are not affiliated with any other fragrance brand, house or manufacturer. Every fragrance we sell is our own original formulation, created and named by us after its own scent profile.

Every fragrance is built from premium imported French oils and blended in-house at a dense 20%+ extrait concentration. Once blended, each batch is macerated (left to mature) so that the oils settle and the scent profile opens smoothly rather than sharply.

Each order is filled, sealed and packaged by hand before it is handed to our courier partner. Because our fragrances are produced in small batches, packaging or bottle detailing may vary slightly between batches.

We believe premium fragrance should be about the ingredients and the craft, not the logo. Our focus is high oil concentration, quality raw materials, careful maceration and honest pricing.

All of our fragrances are vegan and cruelty-free. We do not test on animals and we do not use animal-derived ingredients.

Payments are processed securely by Yoco, one of South Africa's leading payment providers. We accept Visa and Mastercard, instant EFT, and Apple Pay or Google Pay where your device supports it. Card details are entered on Yoco's PCI-DSS compliant payment page and are never stored on our servers.

Orders are dispatched door-to-door nationwide through The Courier Guy, with delivery typically taking 1 to 3 business days to major centres and up to 5 business days for regional areas. Delivery is free on orders over R650, otherwise a flat R85 courier fee applies.
